Easy to Set-Up
* Although the shipping (free) took longer than I had hoped for, the printer was definitely worth the wait. The printer weighs in at a hefty 83 lbs but I was able to lift myself. The packaging of this printer is Apple quality. What do I mean? Have you ever bought an Apple product and marvel at the packing? Well, you will definitely do the same with this printer. The wireless was a breeze to set up. It identified every computer in my home and scanning remotely is awesome. Although this printer is an investment, I was able to get rid of two printers and use just this one. You won't be disappointed. ...

* Better than th rest ...
I've had all-in-ones before from HP, Epson, and Canon, but this one tops them all. For a laser printer this printer is relatively quiet. Connecting this printer to the router was a snap and now we can print and scan from any computer. The duplex is great and really helps cut down on paper costs. I bought this printer when it first came out for $1000 and it's been well worth it, but now you can get it for under $650, now that's a great deal. I've had the printer for over a year without any problems, I would highly recommend getting this printer if you want a printer that can do it all.

It's good but... I wish I had known
* Okay... 21 PPM for color and b/w sounds great but it would have been nice to know...
Caller ID doesn't work on a phone plugged into this fax machine. So if you like your Caller ID then you are plugging into another jack to know when Aunt Sally is calling and that you will be stuck on the phone for an hour if you answer it. Or you could get a Brother machine that has a handset.
There are a limited number of signal ring patterns that work with this machine. And changing the ring pattern isn't so hard for the telephone company once you spend 30 minutes on hold and get forwarded 5 places before you find the person that can do it.
If you don't have a couple of days to get this machine integrated into your home or office there are easier options out there.
Happy hunting. ...

* 9840 ...
* I bought this machine at work for my job. Now that I have used it at work and print about 50 pages per day and liked it so well, I bought one for me. To use at home. I just got tired of printers that clog up and will not print if you don't use them for a month or so, Or the date on the ink runs out and you have to buy a new ink even if the ink is still full. Yes the company paid for the company printer. I paid for mine, and love it.
